Oscar Brown (Oscar Lee Brown) was born on February 8, 1946 in Long Beach, California. He made his Major League debut on September 3, 1969 for the Atlanta Braves. In 1972, his rookie year, he hit .226 with 3 home runs and 16 RBI. Brown played for the Atlanta Braves for his entire 5 year career.
