Orville Tuttle (James Orville Tuttle) was born on September 18, 1912 in Licking, Missouri. After going to high school at Bartlesville (OK), Tuttle attended Oklahoma State University and Phillips Community College. Tuttle made his professional debut in the NFL in 1937 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 6 year career.
