Ordell Braase (Ordell Wayne Braase) was born on March 13, 1932 in Mitchell, South Dakota. After going to high school at Mitchell (SD), Braase attended the University of South Dakota. Braase made his professional debut in the NFL in 1957 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Baltimore Colts for his entire 12 year career.

Most people believe that 1962 was Ordell Braase's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
