Oral Hildebrand

Born on April 7, 1907 in Indianapolis, Indiana, Oral Hildebrand (Oral Clyde Hildebrand) played for the Cleveland Indians, St. Louis Browns and New York Yankees over the course of his 10 year career. Hildebrand broke into the bigs on September 8, 1931 with the Cleveland Indians, and put up a 3.69 ERA in 129.1 innings pitched in 1932, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Oral Hildebrand's best season was 1933, when he posted a 3.76 ERA, won 16 games and struck out 90 batters.
