Opinion on last night's historical game

Before I begin, I'd just like to say I'm sorry for the last article. But, for those who thought I was looking for votes, you're wrong. It's YOUR fault that 24 of you guys even voted for 2 sentences! Think about that!" Anyway, my opinion on whether or not the HR record should stand is that it should until Bonds is proven guilty. However, how would we know that he couldn't possibly have broken the record without steroids if Hank Aaron did? If Julio Franco, who is 2,000 years old, can hit a homer, why do we assume Barry can't? Apart from that, let us not just look at Bonds, but look at sports in general. I'd guarantee you, that if these leagues would tell the truth about what's really going on with this whole controversy, sports would be destroyed as we know it. Plus, has anyone else noticed that when Mark McGwire and Jason Giambi had steroid trouble, it flew off the news after a couple of days. But, when Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa, and Rafael Palmeiro were in trouble, it was non-stop news coverage. Double standard perhaps? As for #756, I'm happy that Bonds broke the record for the sake of ESPN being easier to watch (small margin, but still easier). I'm not happy at the fact that Dave O'Brien had little enthusiasm in his voice whatsoever. He handled it well, but just add a little more excitement will you? It's also not good that modern records today in any sport will always be tainted with steroids this, and drugs that. Congrats Barry, you did it, and all of the Bay Area is rejoicing. Your thoughts on this?
