Ookie Miller (Charles Lewis Miller) was born on November 11, 1909 in Marion, Indiana. After going to high school at Marion (IN), Miller attended Purdue University. Miller made his professional debut in the NFL in 1932 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers and Cleveland Rams over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1936 was Ookie Miller's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
