College/Personal:

Played 23 games over two seasons at Brigham Young University where he was all-WAC First Team All-Star in 1996 and 1997. He played his first two college seasons at El Camino Junior College. He spends his off-season in Los Angeles.

Pro:

1998

Went to training camp with the Rams in 1998...left camp due to family illness.

1999

Joined Roughrider training camp in June 1999...left camp prior to final cut down.

2000

Dressed for 18 games as a Roughrider in 2000...Week 1 was first CFL game...started at corner for 17 games...listed as backup defensive back in Week 16...registered eight defensive tackles and a pass knockdown in Week 10 at Toronto...had 56 yard interception return at Toronto in Week 11. Led all defensive backs with 58 tackles and six special team tackles...also tied for team best with 10 pass knockdowns...grabbed team high four interceptions...also had team best three fumble recoveries...added two tackles for losses.

2001

Started all 18 games at left corner in 2001...also played on special teams...had season high seven defensive tackles in Week 10.

2002

Started 18 games at left corner in 2002...starting left corner for East Semi-Final...had 42-yard interception for first career CFL touchdown in Week 6...had five defensive tackles and one fumble recovery for a touchdown in Week 14...led team with five interceptions.

2003

Started 15 games at left corner...started Western Semi-Final and Western Final...missed three games with knee injury...led team with five defensive tackles in week 5...had five defensive tackles and an interception in week 7...had seven defensive tackles in week 13...had four defensive tackles and an interception in week 14...had six defensive tackles, an interception, and a 56-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown in week 16...had two defensive tackles and a special teams tackle in Western Semi-Final...had one defensive tackle in Western Final...was named West Division all-star.

2004

Started all 18 regular season games at left corner...also started in Western semi-Final and Western Final...had four defensive tackles in weeks 6,8 and 11...had three defensive tackles and an interception in week 9...had four defensive tackles and an interception in week 13...had six defensive tackles and an interception in week 14...had five defensive tackles in week 17...had 11 defensive tackles and a forced fumble in West Division Semi-Final...had four defensive tackles in West Division Final.

2005

Started in 17 regular season games and Eastern Semi-Final…had two defensive tackles and an interception in week 4…had four defensive tackles and an interception in week 6…had three defensive tackles and a forced fumble in week 11…had three defensive tackles, an interception, and blocked a field goal attempt on the final play of the game, preserving victory for the Riders in week 12…had seven defensive tackles in week 13…had four defensive tackles in Eastern Semi-Final…was named CFL’s Defensive Player-of-the-Week in week 12…was named a CFL all-star for the third time in his career.

2006

Morgan played in 17 games recording 52 defensive tackles, five special teams tackles and six knockdowns. He also played in both of the ‘Riders playoff games, posting four tackles and a fumble recovery.

2007

Morgan joined Edmonton after playing seven seasons with Saskatchewan. He started 16 games in Edmonton’s secondary, leading the club with pass knockdowns with seven. He was third on the Eskimos in defensive tackles with 52, and his two interceptions both came at the expense of the Toronto Argonauts in Weeks 14 and 15.

2008

Signed with the Roughriders as a free agent in March.
