Ollie Savatsky (Oliver J. Savatsky) was born on May 13, 1912 in Cleveland, Ohio. After going to high school at Cathedral Latin (Cleveland, OH) and Lincoln (Cleveland, OH), Savatsky attended Miami University of Ohio. Savatsky made his professional debut in the NFL in 1937 with the Cleveland Rams. He played for the Cleveland Rams for his entire 1 year career.
