Ollie O'Mara (Oliver Edward O'Mara) was born on March 8, 1891 in St. Louis, Missouri. He made his Major League debut on September 8, 1912 for the Detroit Tigers. In 1914, his rookie year, he hit .263 with 1 home run and 7 RBI. O'Mara played for the Detroit Tigers, Brooklyn Superbas and Brooklyn Robins over the course of his 6 year career.
