Ollie Brown (Ollie Lee Brown) was born on February 11, 1944 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He made his Major League debut on September 10, 1965 for the San Francisco Giants. In 1966, his rookie year, he hit .233 with 7 home runs and 33 RBI. Brown played for the San Francisco Giants, San Diego Padres, Oakland Athletics, Milwaukee Brewers, Philadelphia Phillies and Houston Astros over the course of his 13 year career.

Most people believe that Ollie Brown's best season was 1970, when he slugged 23 home runs, hit for a .292 average and knocked in 89 runs.
