Oliver Davis (Oliver James Davis) was born on August 29, 1954 in Columbus, Georgia. After going to high school at Mount Olive (Fort Mitchell, AL), Davis attended Tennessee State University. Davis made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1978 was Oliver Davis's best year, as he picked off 6 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
