Ohio State-Michigan Rematch…Burgerflickle!

Now that it has come and gone, why not do it again, right? On Saturday afternoon we all saw Ohio State & Michigan trade punches throughout their 60-minute feud on the gridiron. Everything was at stake…Bragging rights for another year in this age old rivalry, the Big Ten title, the Heisman Trophy, and oh yes, the winner punches their ticket to the BCS National Championship Game in Glendale, while the loser punches their ticket to the Rose Bowl. In the words of Lee Corso, “Not so fast my friend”!

While Michigan fell short in the ‘Shoe 42-39, everybody’s battle cry is…”Let’s play it again!” Why? We all know sequels and remixes are no where as good as the originals. See, that’s what made this game on Saturday so enormous…To the winner goes everything and the loser, well Pasadena , here we come! It doesn’t matter to me if these might be the two best teams in the country, which everybody is basing their rematch remarks on. The fact is for everybody who is saying college football needs a playoff system, well hey, guess what…We had that Saturday in the ‘Shoe! Ohio State moves on, now Michigan needs to go smell the Roses now! See in playoffs you get one shot…Saturday was indeed that playoff game, so why are people crying out to see this again? People, you can’t have your cake and eat it too…Not unless you’re a fat ass. We want a playoff, but at the same time want Ohio State-Michigan Part II…Thanks, but no thanks…I’d rather play solitaire with my grandparents than watch this rematch, (and they still play with good ole fashion cards, actual cards, instead of the new millennium computer style).

By possibly having this matchup again about 50 days from now does nothing to help sell the “playoff idea”…Like it had been working anyway! You would be rewarding Michigan for losing this “playoff game” by giving them another shot. Although, all the dumbasses that run college football will turn the other cheek and talk out of both sides of their mouths, the same people who want a playoff, but don’t realize they just had one…Just on a smaller scale! I must say talking out both sides of your mouth is very talented indeed!

Okay, let’s just say they do meet in the BCS Championship Game…And by golly, Michigan wins. Who’s your National Champions then? Michigan or Ohio State? Both would’ve beaten each other, but since Michigan would’ve beating Ohio State “when it counted” they would get the oh so precious Waterford Crystal hardware. Then we would have these same blockheads who pushed for a rematch get a brain fart in their melons…To the tune “We need one more game to decide.” Hey assholes, if none of you would’ve cooked up this recipe of having a rematch in the first place, we wouldn’t be in this predicament, now would we? Nonetheless, if Michigan does indeed go to the Rose Bowl and win, the cries will be, “We still need one more game to decide!” I didn’t know a bunch of women were running college football!

Don’t try to make the BCS system out to be a playoff system, because it’s not! It’s just like the differences between boys and girls…Boys have penises and girls have vaginas. When couples are shooting for a boy and a girl pops out…Daddy continues to ram mommy until he gets his little girl. They don’t dress little Randy in dresses and start calling him Rhonda! Here’s a crazy thought…If college football wants one, why don’t they come up with one. Although it’s likely we would see some cross dressing on that too. The winner moves on and the loser could possibly play again?

Even when you have a “playoff game” such as we did on Saturday, some how, some way, everything gets all clustered f******! How is it then, the NCAA Basketball Tournaments can run so smoothly? There, the winning moves on, the loser goes home. Although with Michigan their home might be in Glendale with Ohio State? How does that work if Saturday was a “playoff game”? Now we can actually see how a playoff system in Division I college football would be accepted…It wouldn’t be! PLAYOFFS DO NOT ALLOW FOR REMATCHES! I guarantee you neither Woody or Bo would want one!

I forgot about "Whose pocket are you in?!!" You could use that to describe Myles Brand, or David Frohnmayer, or whoever the hell is in charge of the BCS this year...

While Michigan SHOULD be eliminated, the current system doesnt work this way, so they should get a second shot
