Oh the pain

Why do video games (specifically Madden 07) seem to cause people (specifically me, specifically tonight) so much pain and frustration??? I have recently noticed myself playing Madden and complaining about simple physics, such as how there is NO WAY that the defender can pick that ball off!!! There's NO WAY that guy can jump that high! And there must be a glitch in the game, because he just stiff-armed 3 linebackers in a row, there's NO WAY that can happen!!! Man, I am getting SCREWED by the game!!
(I have also noticed that everyone claims that they were screwed by the game at least twice during any given game, with any given person, even though we all are aware that that game has no intentions of "screwing" anyone, and if it did knowingly screw someone, like the jerk who gloats and has to replay every single play in which he gains 10 or more yards, then that's awesome. But if it knowingly screws me, then everything is wrong in this world)
I know you guys probably don't care, but I just lost in Madden to a last-second kickoff return for a TD. I kicked a FG to go up 3 with 1 second left, and he promptly returned it to the house.
In case this has never happened to you, it's about the equivalent of getting punched HARD in the nuts when you're not looking, like when you're sleeping for instance. You are in so much pain, and you want to cry, and want to hurt and possibly even kill the person who did it to you, but in the end you just end up suppressing the pain, and try to make it look like it's not a big deal, it's only a game, that this stuff really doesn't bother you in the least bit. When really, inside, well, you know what it's like inside. Words cannot describe the utter shock and pain.
P.S. I think I'm going to quit Madden and instead start watching Grey's Anatomy, or the O.C. or something equivalently lame
