Oddibe McDowell (Oddibe McDowell) was born on August 25, 1962 in Hollywood, Florida. He made his Major League debut on May 19, 1985 for the Texas Rangers. In 1985, his rookie year, he hit .239 with 18 home runs and 42 RBI. McDowell played for the Texas Rangers, Cleveland Indians and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that Oddibe McDowell's best season was 1986, when he slugged 18 home runs and stole 33 bases.
