Selected by Toronto in the fourth round (31st overall) in the 2006 CFL Canadian Draft.

Cétoute joined the Argos straight out of Central Michigan who has made some eye-popping catches in his rookie campaign. The Montreal native, whose family immigrated to Canada from Haiti before he was born, started three games this season and dressed in 15. Cétoute made 22 catches for 367 yards, long of 46, and scored three touchdowns. ‘O’ lit up highlight reels Week 17 in Montreal when he made an unbelievable one-handed catch for a first down. He was named Toronto's Outstanding Rookie.

Played in 10 games in 2006 and finished the season with 36 receptions, 529 yards and five touchdowns…Caught at least one pass in nine of the 11 games in which he played in 2005…Finished the season with 27 receptions for 364 yards and two touchdowns…Made a career-high eight catches for 91 yards at Western Michigan (11/12)…Played in five games and caught 13 passes for 166 yards in 2004.
Personal:
Obed is the son of Yolande Cétoute. Nicknamed “O”, he enjoys swimming, reading and playing basketball. In addition to football, Obed plays water polo and credits scoring three goals in a championship game as one of his most memorable sports moments. A versatile athlete, he was also All-Province in football in 2000 and 2001 at Vanier College High School, and earned letters in basketball, football, water polo, and soccer.
