Nyls Nyman (Nyls Wallace Rex Nyman) was born on March 7, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan. He made his Major League debut on September 6, 1974 for the Chicago White Sox. In 1975, his rookie year, he hit .226 with 2 home runs and 28 RBI. Nyman played for the Chicago White Sox for his entire 3 year career.
