On the heels of Barry Bonds’s swan song in San Francisco the jury has reached a verdict…Guilty as charged! And as we know, the public never lies! So what were the charges? Well besides tax evasion and having monogamous relationships now the ball Barry Bonds hit for his record-breaking 756th home run will be branded with an asterisk and sent to the Baseball Hall of Fame, its owner said Wednesday. Fashion designer Marc Ecko, who bought the ball in an online auction, set up a Web site for fans to vote on the ball's fate. So I’m guessing Marc Ecko is no longer "an idiot" by himself anymore, right? For now he’s in good company with everybody that voted for "the asterisk".

An "idiot" would’ve voted to send the ball into space, (the third choice…Or the "C" option if you will) that has "idiot" written all over it! Or perhaps an "idiot" might tend to believe you when you have denied ever "knowingly" using performance-enhancing drugs. Yeah, that’s a classic example of an "idiot"! I wonder if Hank Aaron got in on some of the action? Stuffing the ballot box?
Hall of Fame president Dale Petroskey, also interviewed on the show, said accepting the ball did not mean the Hall endorses the viewpoint that Barry Bonds used drugs. Although, just a guess here…I’m thinking they’re very thankful of Marc and all the voters out there who voted on this. Now they can retain their squeaky clean persona and point fingers back at the voters! Claiming they had nothing to do with it! Sort of like when a "happily" married fellow visits a strip club with his bachelor friend(s)…He sits there just pounding down the beverages not making like Pacman Jones and showering poll huggers with jack, because he has a ball-n-chain at home. However, when his boy pays for him to have some lovie, lovie…Touchy, touchy, well then it’s okay! Why? Because it came from an outside source! Same goes for the amigos at Cooperstown…An outside source helped the situation out immensely! "We're happy to get it," Dale said later. Of course you are! And we all know we can turn down some good loving from a pole hugger when it’s on our boys! No way Jose…Why, we would be "an idiot" for doing that!!
Gosh…What a tough week for Barry! First the Giants announced Friday they will part with Bonds after this season, the seven-time NL MVP's 15th in San Francisco and 22nd in the majors. And now his 756th home run ball will be branded with an asterisk. What’s next…Greg Anderson will start chirping like a prison canary, from where? Oh yeah, prison and sell you out? Oh well, if you still want to continue you’re little song and dance about not being Balco Spokesperson, that’s on you! Although just remember, Pete Rose played this little game before too…And well, it’s a game not worth playing! You lose every time! And by the public asterisksizing your ball, well you’re the one who keeps looking like the "idiot"!
