Norwood Vann (Norwood Jacob Vann) was born on February 18, 1962 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at James Kenan (Warsaw, NC), Vann attended East Carolina University. Vann made his professional debut in the NFL in 1984 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Raiders over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1986 was Norwood Vann's best year, as he recovered 3 opponents fumbles.
