Norris Armstrong (Phillip Norris Armstrong) was born on September 15, 1898 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. After going to high school at Fort Smith (AR), Armstrong attended Centre College. Armstrong made his professional debut in the NFL in 1922 with the Milwaukee Badgers. He played for the Milwaukee Badgers for his entire 1 year career.
