Born on November 15, 1928 in Newton, Massachusetts, Normie Roy (Norman Brooks Roy) played for the Boston Braves for his entire 1 year career. Roy broke into the bigs on April 23, 1950 with the Boston Braves, and put up a 5.13 ERA in 59.2 innings pitched in 1950, his rookie year.
