Born on February 21, 1893 in York, Pennsylvania, Norman Plitt (Norman William Plitt) played for the Brooklyn Robins and New York Giants over the course of his 2 year career. Plitt broke into the bigs on April 26, 1918 with the Brooklyn Robins, and put up a 4.78 ERA in 69.2 innings pitched in 1927, his rookie year.
