Norm Willey (Norman Earle Willey) was born on August 22, 1927 in Hastings, West Virginia. After going to high school at Pine Grove (WV), Willey attended Marshall University. Willey made his professional debut in the NFL in 1950 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 8 year career.

Most people believe that 1950 was Norm Willey's best year, as he ran back an interception for a touchdown and recovered 4 opponents fumbles.
