Norm Sherry (Norman Burt Sherry) was born on July 16, 1931 in New York, New York. He made his Major League debut on April 12, 1959 for the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 1960, his rookie year, he hit .283 with 8 home runs and 19 RBI. Sherry played for the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Mets over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that Norm Sherry's best season was 1960, when he hit for a .283 average.
