Norberto Martin (Norberto Enrique (McDonald) Martin) was born on December 10, 1966 in San Pedro de Macoris, Macoris (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on September 20, 1993 for the Chicago White Sox. In 1994, his rookie year, he hit .275 with 1 home run and 16 RBI. Martin played for the Chicago White Sox, Anaheim Angels and Toronto Blue Jays over the course of his 7 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Norberto Martin's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1997, when he hit for a .300 average. However, others believe that it was 1996, when he hit for a .350 average.
