Noland Smith (Noland Smith) was born on October 20, 1943 in Jackson, Mississippi. After going to high school at Brinkley (Jackson, MS), Smith attended Tennessee State University. Smith made his professional debut in the AFL in 1967 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played in the AFL for 2 years, playing for the Kansas City Chiefs the entire time. Smith also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the San Francisco 49ers the entire time.
Most people believe that 1967 was Noland Smith's best year, as he had 1148 kick return yards and ran back a kickoff for a touchdown.
