Noble Doss (Noble W. Doss) was born on May 22, 1920 in Temple, Texas. Doss attended the University of Texas. Doss made his professional debut in the NFL in 1947 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Philadelphia Eagles the entire time. Doss also played in the AAFC for 1 year, playing for the New York Yankees the entire time.

Most people believe that 1948 was Noble Doss's best year.
