No Smoking In Taxis Before Games

Amongst all other efforts to get Beijing ready for the 2008 games, the government has banned smoking in all 66,000 taxis in Beijing. Drivers will be fined 13-26 dollars for smoking while passengers will be "exposed through media". The number of cars on the roads are to be limited and foul smelling factories are to be closed. Beijing is going heavy on its pollution and cleanliness checks to get the city ready for the Olympics 2008. Strange tactics if you ask me.
