No Deal For Clemens

A report published Tuesday evening that the Houston Astros and Roger Clemens had come to terms on a deal was denied later by Clemens' agent, Randy Hendricks, Astros owner Drayton McLane, and team GM Tim Purpura. Purpura added that they had not even contacted Clemens or his agent today; Hendricks confirmed that.

If he has wanted to play for the Yanks, he'd never have "retired" and then unretired as an Astro. The anonymous fan above is right.

his butt buddy pettite cajoled him into pulling that fiasco. yes, admittedly, bitter yanks fan here. but I think the question now is who gives him the best shot at one last world series run. not sure that is the stros.
