Niners trade WR Lloyd to Washington

The San Francisco 49ers traded wide receiver Brandon Lloyd to the Washington Redskins for two draft picks. Lloyd led San Francisco in receiving last year. The Redskins are also interested in obtaining Antwaan Randle El, Andre Carter, Adam Archuleta and Todd Collins.

Lloyd's a talent. Should be a good deal for the Skins.

The picks were #3 and #4. Considering the last two Redskins #3's were Derrick Dockery and Chris Cooley, all I can say is that Lloyd better be good. Still, lots of people thought the Moss trade was a terrible idea, and that turned out rather nicely.
