Nig Lipscomb (Gerard Lipscomb) was born on February 24, 1911 in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. He made his Major League debut on April 23, 1937 for the St. Louis Browns. Lipscomb played for the St. Louis Browns for his entire 1 year career.
