10
Vote

The Washington Nationals agreed to terms with the injury-prone first baseman Nick Johnson on a three-year, $16.5 million contract extension through 2009. Johnson's is one of the NL's better first baseman when healthy. The contract grants Johnson a player option if the Nationals trad him during the next two years. Last year Nick Johnson hit 15 HRs with 74 RBIs in only 131 games.

He is a decent 1B...however he doesn't deserve the amount of money they had to throw at him to keep him on a shitty team
