Here’s a team that I couldn’t wait to talk about for one reason and one reason only, Brandon Jacobs! I truly have no idea how these Giants will fare this season however, I do know that if Eli Manning has not taken instructions from his brother then this franchise will suffer.
Brandon Jacobs : Don’t sleep on this guy. Jacobs could very easily end up being a #1 runner for any fantasy roster. There is not a single defensive player who wants to tackle a back who runs with purpose, intensity, and a desire to punish the opposition for the mere thought of tackling him. Don’t be the owner who passes on this player expecting him to be there in the next round. If you are, you’re missing out on double digit Td’s and over 1200 rushing yards.
Eli Manning :What else does Manning need in order to perform. He has proven veteran receivers, a great tight-end, and a running game that has taken tremendous pressure off of him. If Manning starts out slow, he could very easily be benched. However, I don’t think that will be the case. I truly believe this is his year and Manning could become a starter on your fantasy team by mid-season, after he has developed your trust.
Plaxico Burress : We’re still waiting Plaxico! Burress’s value is solely contingent on whether or not Manning finally comes around. Ten Td’s on only 63 receptions in 2006 are pretty impressive numbers, however they are impressive for a #2 receiver in the NFL. He should improve those numbers with the breakout season of Manning, therfore, Burress should become a top 15 receiver. Amani Toomer : An obvious sign of aging as Toomer’s numbers have decreased over four consecutive seasons. Is he healthy this year? If so, he will remain a #2 in the NFL and a longshot late round selection for fantasy leagues
Steve Smith : Unless you have great talent in this league most rookie receivers struggle. I love him as a future #1 guy. Smith could emerge this season and you should consider him in later rounds.
Jeremy Shockey : One of the top TE’s in the league and it’s going to stay that way.
DEFENSE : Not what they used to be. Every fantasy team needs two defenses so I’d imagine under Coughlin the Giants are worthy of a 2nd option.

When we went head to head, he had barber and I had jacobs and it was amazing...barber would get them to around the 10...and jacobs would punch it in...that's his value...
Coughlin rode tiki to the 20s and let jacobs get the "tough" yardage for the score...and fantasy points...
Still, I don't think this is going to work with Jacobs and Droughns (or however you spell it)...I guess eli will have to pass..get it!
