Nelson Simmons

Nelson Simmons (Nelson Bernard Simmons) was born on June 27, 1963 in Washington, D.C.. He made his Major League debut on September 4, 1984 for the Detroit Tigers. In 1985, his rookie year, he hit .239 with 10 home runs and 33 RBI. Simmons played for the Detroit Tigers and Baltimore Orioles over the course of his 3 year career.
