Nelson Greene (Nelson Greene) was born on March 21, 1924 in Houston, Texas. After going to high school at Shawnee (OK), Greene attended the University of Tulsa. Greene made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1948 with the New York Yankees. He played for the New York Yankees for his entire 1 year career.
