Nelson Burbrink (Nelson Edward Burbrink) was born on December 28, 1921 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on June 5, 1955 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1955, his rookie year, he hit .276 with 0 home runs and 15 RBI. Burbrink played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 1 year career.
