Neil Rengel (Neil Albert Rengel) was born on April 9, 1906 in St. Cloud, Minnesota. After going to high school at Technical (St. Cloud, MN), Rengel attended Davis & Elkins College, St. Cloud State University and the University of Minnesota. Rengel made his professional debut in the NFL in 1930 with the Frankford Yellow Jackets. He played for the Frankford Yellow Jackets for his entire 1 year career.
