Neil Berry (Cornelius John Berry) was born on January 11, 1922 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He made his Major League debut on April 20, 1948 for the Detroit Tigers. In 1948, his rookie year, he hit .266 with 0 home runs and 16 RBI. Berry played for the Detroit Tigers, St. Louis Browns, Chicago White Sox and Baltimore Orioles over the course of his 7 year career.
