Ned Crompton (Edward Crompton) was born on February 13, 1889 in Liverpool, England. He made his Major League debut on September 13, 1909 for the St. Louis Browns. Crompton played for the St. Louis Browns and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 2 year career.
