Neal Petties (Cornelius Petties) was born on September 16, 1940 in San Diego, California. After going to high school at San Diego (CA), Petties attended San Diego State University. Petties made his professional debut in the NFL in 1964 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Baltimore Colts for his entire 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1964 was Neal Petties's best year.
