Neal Musser (James Neal Musser) was born on March 20, 1957 in Elon, North Carolina. After going to high school at West Alamance (Elon, NC), Musser attended Lees-McRae College and North Carolina State University. Musser made his professional debut in the NFL in 1981 with the Atlanta Falcons. He played for the Atlanta Falcons for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1981 was Neal Musser's best year.
