[edit] Biography

Born on March 3, 1960 in South Ozone Park, New York, Neal Heaton (Neal Heaton) played for the Cleveland Indians, Minnesota Twins, Montreal Expos, Pittsburgh Pirates, Milwaukee Brewers, Kansas City Royals and New York Yankees over the course of his 12 year career. Heaton broke into the bigs on September 3, 1982 with the Cleveland Indians, and put up a 4.16 ERA in 149.1 innings pitched in 1983, his rookie year.

There is some disagreement on what was Neal Heaton's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1983, when he posted a 4.16 ERA, won 11 games and struck out 75 batters. However, others believe that it was 1987, when he posted a 4.52 ERA, won 13 games and struck out 105 batters.
