With Paul Johnson leaving Navy to go and coach at Georgia Tech, and the hiring of Ken Niumatalolo, the Navy football players have decided its time to start a new era. Sure they will miss Coach Johnson and are happy to have Coach Motts as their head coach, but they have come to the realization that they are not playing for their coaches, they are playing for themselves and have been doing so since the first team to wear the Naval Academy football jersey did so way back when. After a team meeting, and some talking to by a former player, they have put the weeks events behind them and are ready to start practicing for Utah and the Poinsettia Bowl on December 20th in San Diego.
Let's go Navy, keep this program rolling and keep hitting people in the mouth!
