Born on August 31, 1969 in Austin, Texas, Nate Minchey (Nathan Derek Minchey) played for the Boston Red Sox and Colorado Rockies over the course of his 4 year career. Minchey broke into the bigs on September 12, 1993 with the Boston Red Sox.
