Born on July 24, 1976 in Towanda, Pennsylvania, Nate Bump (Nathan Louis Bump) played for the Florida Marlins for his entire 3 year career. Bump broke into the bigs on June 28, 2003 with the Florida Marlins, and put up a 5.01 ERA in 73.2 innings pitched in 2004, his rookie year.
