Nate Borden (Nathaniel Borden) was born on September 22, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan. After going to high school at William L. Dickinson (Jersey City, NJ), Borden attended Indiana University. Borden made his professional debut in the NFL in 1955 with the Green Bay Packers. He played in the NFL for 7 years, playing for the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys over the course of his 7 year NFL career.Borden also played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Buffalo Bills the entire time.
Most people believe that 1955 was Nate Borden's best year, as he recovered 3 opponents fumbles.
