Nat Whitmyer (Nathaniel Whitmyer) was born on August 31, 1940 in Washington, District Of Columbia. After going to high school at Dunbar (Washington, DC), Whitmyer attended Allen Hancock College and the University of Washington. Whitmyer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1963 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Los Angeles Rams the entire time. Whitmyer also played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the San Diego Chargers the entire time.
