NFL Week Twelve Picks

I don't know what ever possessed me to pick the Lions over the Packers today, and I'm kicking myself for it. Oh well, at least I nailed the score of the Indianapolis-Atlanta game at 31-13, so I still have something to brag about. Anyway, here are my picks for the rest of this week's games.
Carolina Panthers 21, New Orleans Saints 14. This is a tough one. Carolina has numerous questions on offense and a defense that yielded 31 points last week; the Saints have a two-game losing streak and seem to have reverted to their early season form. Considering that New Orleans lost to previously-winless St. Louis, though, I'm picking Carolina.
Tennessee Titans 33, Cincinnati Bengals 24. The Titans have lost two in a row (to Jacksonville and Denver), but the Bengals can't stop anybody.
Houston Texans 27, Cleveland Browns 24. Another tough pick here. None of the Browns' recent victories have been very convincing, though. The Houston running game should be able to keep the Browns' defense on the field a lot.
Jacksonville Jaguars 34, Buffalo Bills 10. Just like the Patriots' other victories this year, the Buffalo Massacre last week exposed the flaws of their opponent (in this case the Bills). No way Buffalo wins this week, especially not against Jacksonville.
Kansas City Chiefs 24, Oakland Raiders 21. The Chiefs shut down Peyton Manning last week and nearly won. The Raiders are terrible this year, as usual.
Minnesota Vikings 23, New York Giants 20. I don't know why I'm picking the Vikings, but I'll take a chance on it anyway. The last time they met, I predicted a Vikings' victory, and they pulled off with an interception return, a punt return, and a kickoff return for touchdowns. Here's hoping they rekindle the magic.
Seattle Seahawks 25, St. Louis Rams 19. A case of a mediocre team beating a bad team.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 20, Washington Redskins 17. The Bucs are good again, and the 'Skins are still recovering from their loss to the Patriots. Washington's lackluster offense will go nowhere against Tampa's defense.
Arizona Cardinals 24, San Francisco 49ers 17. Another mediocre team versus a bad one.
Denver Broncos 16, Chicago Bears 13. The Broncos shouldn't have too much trouble with Chicago's offense, and their own offense should be able to score occasionally. Either Rex Grossman or Brian Griese will be going against Champ Bailey and Dre' Bly.
Baltimore Ravens 21, San Diego Chargers 16. Another upset prediction? The Ravens are ticked off after last week's fluke loss to the Browns, and the Chargers look really bad right now.
New England Patriots 48, Philadelphia Eagles 13. Several Eagles insinuated earlier this year that the Patriots beat them in the Super Bowl by cheating. Don't think that Bill Belichick won't use that to get his team fired up.
