Here are my predictions for this week's NFL games. So far, not counting Thursday night's game, my record on the season is 120-72 (.625).
Buffalo Bills 17, Miami Dolphins 14. Please, oh please, keep the dream of an 0-16 season alive!
Cincinnati Bengals 34, St. Louis Rams 27. Neither has a defense, but the Bungles are an AFC team.
Dallas Cowboys 41, Detroit Lions 20. The Lions' tailspin will continue against the NFC's best team.
Green Bay Packers 27, Oakland Raiders 24. This game isn't as big a mismatch as many think. The Raiders played really well last week.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 27, Houston Texans 24. The Bucs are probably the third-best team in the NFC.
Jacksonville Jaguars 27, Carolina Panthers 10. The Panthers will chewed up in this cat fight. They have no quarterback, and neither their offense or defense is especially intimidating right now.
Philadelphia Eagles 27, New York Giants 20. The Giants struggled to survive the Bears last week, while Philadelphia lost to the Seahawks. Philly should win this game, though.
San Diego Chargers 27, Tennessee Titans 17. The Titans have Albert Haynesworth and other injured players back. I hope it's enough, but I doubt it.
Minnesota Vikings 34, San Francisco 49ers 17. The Vikings are on a roll, with both their offense and defense beating people up. Here's hoping it continues.
Arizona Cardinals 27, Seattle Seahawks 24. The Cardinals have enough weapons to pull off an upset here.
Kansas City Chiefs 24, Denver Broncos 21. With the Broncos' "luck" (bad coaching), Kansas City will probably discover its offense in this game.
Pittsburgh Steelers 41, New England Patriots 24. I'm picking against the Patriots for the first time all year. They haven't looked very good in their last two games, and I think this one will get out of hand early.
Cleveland Browns 28, New York Jets 23. The Browns will be a playoff team, while the Jets seem to be competing for a high draft pick.
Indianapolis Colts 27, Baltimore Ravens 13. The Ravens will be a bit flat after throwing everything at the Patriots, but their defense is still to be respected.
New Orleans Saints 24, Atlanta Falcons 17. There's really nothing good about the Falcons, while the Saints are making a serious push toward the playoffs.
