NFL Preview Show Extravaganza: The Seattle Seahawks-Sponsored by Starbucks (Not really but still)

Let's keep the NFL Preview's going with the final division in the NFC, the Wild Wild West. Today, we go to the Northwest and profile the Seattle Seahawks.   The Seahawks won the NFC West division, last season, going 9-7. The year before then, they made it all the way to the Super Bowl, only to lose to the Steelers. The Seahawks bowed out to the Bears in the divisional round.   The Seahawks had no first round pick in the 2007 draft, so their first pick came in the second round when they drafted CB Josh Wilson out of Maryland.   The Seahawks open at home against Tampa Bay. They will play the Panthers, the Steelers and the Eagles on the road. At home, they will face such notable teams as the Saints, the Bengals and the Ravens.   Time for those Burnin questions (Yearbook Style):

  1. Matt Hasselbeck will: Be the only balding QB to throw for 3,000 yards in 2007
  2. Hasselbeck's sister-in-law (Elizabeth from 'The View') mentionings this season: Four or five
  3. Shaun Alexander will: Run through gaps bigger than the one in his teeth
  4. Alexander will also: Lead the league in rushing (If he stays healthy)
  5. Mike Holmgrem's NFL Moustache Power Ranking: 2nd
  6. The Seahawks defense will: Be ok
  7. Darrell Jackson will: Miss out on 1,000 yard receiving season, again
  8. Kiss song that best describes the team: They don't get one, they have grunge music and that's enough
  9. In 2007, the Seahawks will: Go 9-7, missing the playoffs

If Shuan Alexander leads the league in rushing they will go to the playoffs. That being said I think the Seahawks are a below average team and Shuan Alexander is overrated

Umm OK it has nothing to do with the Giants, You guys were the better team last year. I dont want to talk about the game two years ago (bad memories) but whatever. I just dont think the seahawks are that great of a team. I also think that while they are staying at a consistent level the other teams in the division are improving

I dont see how the Hawks are staying at a consistant level if they brought in some great and good players and brought in one of the best ST coaches in the league and Jim Mora JR. who specializes in the secondary, once again the Hawks get overlooked by the majority of the league, because San Fran actually did something and the Cards and Rams also did stuff.
