NFL Preview Show Extravaganza: The Philadelphia Eagles....BOOOOO!!!!!!

The Eagles had a rollercoaster of a ride last season, starting strong, struggling midseason after losing QB Donovan McNabb, and riding to the division on the back of Jeff Garcia.

Things are much different though, the Eagles don't have Garcia, so the heat is now on McNabb to not only stay healthy, but to get the Eagles back to the playoffs.

The Eagles finished 2006, with a 10-6 record, and the NFC East title. They lost to the Saints in the Divisional round.

The team drafted QB Kevin Kolb out of Houston, with their first pick in the draft, which was in the second round. The Eagles will face the Bears, the Saints and the Patriots.

This doesn't make sense, Eagles fans will boo McNabb's performance but the Eagles go 12-4. Eagles fans may boo alot of people but they're not retarded. You're right, Westbrook will be the teams leading rusher and reciever

I really thinking Reggie Brown will have over 1000 yards this season...B-West will be the key, but Brown will have a very nice season Btw, anyone think a Reggie Brown & Kevin Curtis Receiving Corp is bad...don't sleep on Hank Baskett or Jason Avant Either...I'll be the first to tell you the receivers aren't great, but they're not bad either...

Eagles fans don't hate McNabb, but its an strange relationship...they'll be as firey as usual, but if things get bad, they'll tell the people who aren't performing... Look at McNabb last year...he was spectacular early on and the eagles went 5-5...did they rip McNabb...not really...

I don't get it...there are a ton of McNabb haters in Philly and I'm unsure as to why...Reggie White, IMO, certainly made some dumb comments (Look what he said about gay people, for example) and yet he really is revered. Great player, i disagree with his personally philosophy, but i respect his playing. Plus his personal stuff wasn't bad by its own nature.

I'm a McNabb fan...i remember watching the draft with my dad...he even said somethign to the effect of "I really do like Ricky Williams, but damn it, we need a QB..." Really I think the McNabb draft was out of necessity and Williams was/is a talented back (if nothing else)...but McNabb is a franchise QB...much harder to come by.

The eagles will make yet another push for the superbowl this year. With a defense that is very talented whether they play that way or not a healthy mcnabb and a heavy does of...THE RUNNING GAME the eagles could once again be the heads of the nfc.

Defense needs to avoid injuries (Trotter, Dawkins, the CBs) and step it up (Kearse returning from a knee injury, howard from a off year, bunkley...just showing up)...if everything goes well, they could have a phenominal defense...then again, the opposite could happen as well... Running, especially with the addition of hunt, could make them dangerous...The colts super bowl victory was more thanks to the running game than anything else...They ran decently (and could always throw the ball) which kept their defense off the field...a less tired defense combined with a offense that can score both quickly and grinding it out, is a good team...
